Paul is a fully qualified Health & Safety Consultant with a career distinguished by commended performance and proven results.  Paul has an extensive background in health and safety, including experience in providing expert advice, policy writing, risk assessment, incident management and accident investigation. As a certified professional trainer, Paul has extensive experience of designing, preparing and delivering a wide variety of training courses.

Paul set up Hobday Safety Consultants  with the aim of offering a friendly, reliable service to businesses that would help dispel many of the myths about health and safety law, and work towards making workplaces safer for everyone.

Prior to establishing Hobday Safety Consultants, Paul Hobday spent many years as a full-time Health & Safety Consultant for FTSE 100 insurance company Royal & SunAlliance.  Paul’s role was to provide advice, guidance, and training on all aspects of health and safety, across the UK.  This included providing proactive and targeted support to a wide variety of business areas, as well as reacting to and managing serious incidents when they occurred. Paul is also a registered Self Protection Instructor, experienced in teaching both personal safety skills and physical self defence techniques.
